Mode of action:

copper leads to metabolic disorders of pathogens by inhibiting many enzymatic reactions and enters into counterforce with other metals between cells by creating chelate compounds – chelates and inactivation of membrane proteins.

Escada 488 SC is compatible with most pesticides except products based on fosethyl aluminum and sulfur and products having an acid reaction. The only thing that needs to be controlled to avoid phytotoxicity when combining products in the tank mixture – is its acidity, which should not be less than 4. The duration of the protective effect, depending on weather conditions is from 7 to 10 days, in terms of epiphytotic infection treatments are carried out every 6 – 7 days.


Do not use the product during the flowering of crop plants, as well as after the peach blossom, because it can cause defoliation. Some grape varieties have increased sensitivity to the products based on copper. Therefore it is desirable to have preliminary data about the sensitivity of a particular grape variety to fungicides which contain copper (burn resistance).

It is not recommended to use the product when an air temperature is above + 25°C. If terms of treatment were not followed and the plants are already affected (there is the appearance of the first visual signs of infection) it is necessary to apply fungicide of systemic action during 2-3 days.

Avoid contact of the product with metal surfaces.
